Enabling ebru paints to spread in a balanced way on the water surface, natural ox gallis one of the most important components of traditional ebru art. Ayan Ebru ox gall, without exposing the liquid directly to flame, by the bain-marie method is prepared. This way the ox gall's protein structure is not damaged, giving a homogeneous consistency and maximum paint-spreading power.

It is processed hygienically in Turkey's professional integrated meat-cutting facilities, under veterinary supervision and in line with sterilisation standards.

Its carefully preserved strong acidic structure lets the paint easily overcome the surface tension on the size. In full harmony with the pigment, it keeps the paint from sinking, allowing the colours to spread in a controlled, balanced way within sharp boundaries without mixing into one another.

Use and Tips:

• Drop Control: Since the product is highly potent, add it to the ground paint one drop at a time with a dropper and test the spreading in the tray after each drop.
• Resting: Letting the ox gall and paint mixture rest briefly after preparing lets the pigment fully combine with the ox gall and gives much better results.
