An indispensable tool in ebru technique, this gel-git comb lets you create gel-git patterns on the water. 50 cm long first-grade imported Ayous wood onto a body 25 mm apart made of brass tips arranged in a row.
Why Do We Specifically Use First-Grade Imported Ayous Wood? Combs are in constant contact with water and gum tragacanth and stay in a damp environment. That is why, for the comb body, we prefer first-grade imported Ayous wood instead of ordinary woods. Thanks to Ayous wood's high resistance to moisture, over time it does not flex, swell or warp. At the same time it is extremely lightweight in structure, so moving the comb never tires you. The wood's breathable natural texture is protected with water-based varnish.

Usage: By combing the paints in the tray with back-and-forth movements you can obtain gel-git patterns. It gives far more orderly, symmetrical results than gel-git made with a stylus.
Care: After use, wipe the wires and wooden body with a damp cloth to clean off gum tragacanth and paint residue.
